Joe Pesci made a tour de force return in "The Irishman. Same with Pacino and DeNiro. A no matter what one thinks about Scorseses comments about the Marvel-movies, one cannot disagree that he has shown why he is one of the true masters of film-making. After clicking on play to watch online movie Irlandczyk, is completely in good quality will not immediately, as is buffering (downloading a movie) will take some time.

What if he really was a rat. I like how De Niro isnt Irish, Pacino isnt Irish aswell, and Stephen Graham is not Italian. I watched an hour each day for 3 days and it was like a mini series. Totally worth it too. It lives up to the hype, is all I have to say. Joey Gallo and Carmine persico and another Gallo Brother killed Anastasia and when Crazy Gallo got hit it wasn"t by the Irish man Robert dinero character it was done by made members of the columbo family but it was a good movie. Rumor has it was the persico brothers were the one who made the hit... Although watching this film was enjoyable for the most part I felt as if I was watching a Scorsese filmmaker retrospect all condensed in this 3 1/2 hour movie. This film referenced every Scorsese mob flick from Mean Streets to Casino. I was still waiting for this movie to emerge and it did sort of.
The casting was superb except for 1, Di Niro, Di Niro, was definitely miscast in this production not because he didn"t fit the character but because he cannot act. DiNiro has an array of facial expressions which has been passed off for years as genius. The problem is it worked in the 80s but now it is old and tired. Scorsese should of stuck to the proven formula of casting him as a background character actor.
There were a tremendous amount of up in coming talent in this film and the one stand out is Stephen Graham. His performance as the NJ mobster Tony "Tony Pro" Provenzano was brilliant and he definitely held his own in two pivotally scenes with Al Pacino.
Although Scorsese hits a home run with his attention to detail of the period and his casting of all the supporting and background actors he apparently went to the DiNiro well one to many times which dragged this movie down to the level of a punch drunk fighter stepping into the ring one more time.
Time to pass the torch.

Pacino"s Hoffa was a mix of Ricky Roma and Big Boy Caprice. Love it! IN PUBLIC! YOU"RE GIVING IT TO HIM! I"m going to jail. That"s me in my dreams when I"m fighting ??. That didn"t apply to you :joy. It"s pretty scary. When two hitman was the voice of reason. lol.
